Evergreen Community Gardens

Join one of our thriving community gardens in Evergreen, Colorado to plant, grow, and harvest local food.

Community Gardens

The Evergreen Sustainability Alliance proudly built and operates two thriving community gardens in Evergreen. The Community Garden at Buchanan Park, in partnership with Evergreen Park and Recreation Department, is located behind Buchanan Field and close to the Evergreen Parks and Rec administrative building. Buffalo Park Community Garden, in partnership with Jefferson County Public School District, is located next to Wilmot Elementary School on Buffalo Park Rd. These member-run gardens offer residents a chance to grow their own food, connect with nature, and be part of a vibrant, sustainability-focused community.

Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just getting started, we welcome you to join our garden family. Plots are available seasonally, and our gardens serve as educational spaces for youth, gathering places for neighbors, and a source of joy for all who participate.
